The Dream of Two Souls, One Eternal Embrace

Milongueando Tango Festival is the realization of a shared dream between Didian Valdés and Juan David Bedoya. As passionate entrepreneurs and tangueros, they—alongside a dedicated team—set out to create a sanctuary where dance, music, and human connection take center stage.

Our journey began in Cali (2024), with an inaugural edition featuring specialized workshops, themed milongas, and “Café Tango” afternoons that brought together tango lovers from across the region. By February 2025, the festival expanded its horizons to the stunning shores of Cartagena, elevating the experience with a dedicated host hotel, professional shows, seaside events, and a comprehensive Full Pass.

With every new edition, we curate fresh experiences, welcome world-class guest artists, and nurture a growing global community.

Our story began in Cali in 2024, with an intimate inaugural edition. It was a week filled with specialized workshops, themed milongas, and Café Tango afternoons that brought together passionate dancers from across the globe.

The Caribbean Expansion

The magic expanded in February 2025, when the festival made its grand debut in Cartagena. We transformed the experience by partnering with a luxury flagship hotel, offering our guests world-class dancing right on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
