The Story Behind Milongueando Tango Festival

The Milongueando Tango Festival was born from the shared vision of Didian Valdés and Juan David Bedoya, two driven entrepreneurs fueled by a profound passion for tango. Alongside a dedicated team, they set out to create an exclusive haven to celebrate dance, mesmerizing music, and genuine human connection.

Our inaugural edition took place in Cali in 2024, featuring master workshops, immersive themed milongas, and elegant Café Tango afternoons that united tango aficionados from across the region. In February 2025, the festival expanded to the historic shores of Cartagena. This edition elevated the experience even further by introducing a premier venue hotel, spectacular live shows, breathtaking seaside experiences, and an all-inclusive Full Pass.

With every new edition, we curate extraordinary new experiences, welcome a world-renowned lineup of guest artists, and nurture a beautifully growing community. Expansion to the Caribbean

The magic expanded in early 2025 as the festival arrived in Cartagena. We elevated the experience with a luxury venue hotel and breathtaking encounters right by the Caribbean Sea.

Deepening Our Roots

Never forgetting our origins, we returned home for Milongueando Cali 2025. This edition beautifully consolidated our community, reaffirming our deep commitment to technical excellence and the true milonguero embrace.
