Alejandra Mantiñan, recognized as “the woman with the miraculous feet,” is one of the most influential figures in contemporary tango. With over three decades of experience, she starred in the hit show Tango Pasión for 14 years, touring more than 340 cities and sharing the stage with legendary orchestras.

Renowned for her musicality, precision, and elegance, she has developed an innovative teaching method combining biomechanics and expressive freedom, impacting dancers worldwide. Today, she continues to train artists, perform at international festivals, and contribute to the evolution of tango through a profound and transformative vision.

Leandro Gómez is a dancer, choreographer, master teacher, and cultural producer with over 25 years of international tango experience. A leading figure in stage tango, he has been part of world-renowned companies such as Tango Pasión, Tango Xperience, and Madame Tango, performing on premier stages across five continents.

Recognized for his solid technique and exceptional pedagogical skills, he has trained World Tango Champions and served as a judge at the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires. His work blends artistic excellence with cultural management, spearheading projects like the reopening of the Casablanca cultural space in San Telmo.

Luciano Brigante and Alejandra Orozco are tango dancers, masters, and producers with over 25 years of international experience. As celebrated exponents of traditional tango, they specialize in the Villa Urquiza style—characterized by its elegance, smoothness, and profound connection—learned directly from the legendary milongueros of Buenos Aires’ Golden Age.

They have earned prestigious accolades, including Vice Champions at the World Tango Championship (Tango Salón) and third place at the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Championship (2004), in addition to representing Argentina at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Throughout their career, they have performed at over 50 international festivals and high-profile stages, including events for diplomats and film/TV productions.

They are also the visionary creators behind prominent projects such as Tango Brigante, Tango Chilango, and Tango Maya Fest, one of the most important festivals in the Americas. They developed the Tango Brigante method, which focuses entirely on connection, the embrace, musicality, and the true essence of tango.

Currently, they spend much of the year in Playa del Carmen, where they continue to build community and share their passion for tango on a global scale.

Mayra Nieto is an extraordinary tango dancer from Manizales with a highly respected national and international trajectory.

She has showcased her artistry in competitions, festivals, and elite events across Europe and Latin America, including Argentina, Germany, France, Spain, Ecuador, and Mexico.

Beyond her performing career, she is an outstanding cultural manager, organizing major tango projects and events in Manizales such as “Un Tango por Manizales” and “Simplemente Tango” (Tangovía – Feria de Manizales), actively driving the growth and global appreciation of tango in her city.

Master in Musical Arts with an emphasis in Composition and Arranging from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (ASAB). As a master bandoneonist, he currently directs the “Vivo” company tango orchestra and served as the lead arranger for the “Anónimos Tango” orchestra from 2011 to 2016. He has performed internationally with numerous prestigious tango orchestras.

Since 2015, he has been a featured bandoneonist at Colombia’s premier tango festivals (Bogotá, Medellín, Pereira, Cali, Manizales, Bucaramanga, Cartagena, Tunja, among others). He is also a skilled string instrumentalist and the composer of the award-winning soundtrack for the documentary “Toda la vida al campo,” which earned accolades for Best Music Video at Universidad Minuto de Dios and Best Original Score for a Short Film.

Laura Vargas and Daniel Martínez are a dynamic couple of masters, performers, and cultural managers from Medellín who joined their remarkable talents in February 2022.

Outstanding Individual Achievements:

• World Champions of Stage Tango at the Open Japan Championship (Daniel in 2005 and Laura in 2007).
• Both have been multi-time National Champions across various categories.
• Daniel is a highly sought-after Tango DJ and director of Tango% Estudio and Compañía.
• Laura is a brilliant choreographer, danced professionally in Dubai (2010-2013), and is the founder of the “Diosas” clothing brand.

Joint Projects & Achievements (Since 2022):

• They teach masterclasses at the historic Salón Málaga, continue running the Elite Tanguera Milonga, and founded Obsession Dance Studio.
• They were crowned Pista Waltz Champions at Tangovía Manizales 2025 and secured podium placements (2nd and 3rd) in Milonga and Tango de Pista at the Medellín International Tango Festival (2023 and 2024).

Yeferson Orrego and Andrés Olaya are an exceptional tango couple, internationally recognized for their precise technique, breathtaking speed, and elegant choreography.

They have cemented their reputation as semi-finalists in both Stage Tango and Tango de Pista at the World Tango Championship in Buenos Aires. Furthermore, they have built a strong presence in the Argentine capital, delivering spectacular performances at some of the world’s most renowned festivals.
